Amy’s camel bite left quite a hilarious memory for some of her siblings. One of them was Chris, who couldn’t stop laughing at how his sister was bitten by a camel. The 1000-Lb Sisters star said in his confessional, “That b*tch done got bit by a f*cking camel, man. And you know, the first thing when I seen it, I thought it was autocorrect. No, that’s ridiculous.”

Chris also chuckled even more after saying that the camel bit Amy down her “white meat,” adding that it took quite a huge chunk of her arm. Chris also shared a story about how his rescued dog years ago bit Amy, which left her with quite a trauma from animal bites. But despite all the laughs, Amy’s camel bite looked extremely painful.

Amy Slaton happened to document the camel bite as she was recording on her phone when it happened. The gruesome photo showed what appears to be fat tissue coming out of the massive wound. Amy explained that it was quite a horrific moment for her, making her think that she was going to lose a hand. Luckily, the bite wasn’t as bad as she thought, and she was quickly treated. Amy still needed a stretcher to get her transferred to an ambulance.

Her recovery later turned into a nightmare after she was arrested for possession of illegal drugs and child endangerment. The siblings also Facetimed following the incident, and they were all puzzled about how Amy was bitten by a camel. Amanda thinks it was nasty seeing Amy’s fat falling out of her arm. Misty added that thinking about it makes her feel sick.

Camel bites require anti-rabies vaccination. They are susceptible to rabies and could easily transmit the disease through bites. But considering that the camel was from a safari zoo, Amy may be safe from a fatal disease. The 1000-Lb Sisters star has also been in touch with the fans on social media, and many of her posts today indicate that she’s doing well. On April 20, she uploaded clips from her first meet-and-greet event at a pizza parlor. One of the videos shows the area where Amy was bitten, and there were almost no marks left from the bite.
