Jinger Duggar Has Priceless Reaction to Jana Duggar’s Pregnancy News
Jinger Duggar Vuolo is throwing her hat into a crowded ring.
After eldest Duggar sister Jana Duggar confirmed she is expecting her first baby with husband Stephen Wissman, the 31-year-old—who shares three children with husband Jeremy Vuolo—began her campaign for fave relative.
“So stoked for my sis @janamduggar & @stephenwissman,” Jinger gushed in an August 18 Instagram Story. “Can’t wait to meet this precious little one and to be the favorite auntie ha.”
Jana, naturally, subtly clapped back at her sister attempting to take the title from the seven other Duggar sisters—Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth, Johannah Duggar, Jennifer Duggar, Jordyn Duggar and Josie Duggar—as well as her seven sisters-in-law, adding in a reply to her own Instagram Story, “Thanks! I think there are several aunts competing for that title.”
Of course, she’s more focused on embracing her new label as Mom.
“We are so excited, January 2026 is going to come with a little bundle of joy joining our family!” Jana and Stephen wrote in a joint August 18 Instagram post. “We’re counting down the days and eagerly looking forward to this thrilling new chapter in our lives!”
This part of the couple’s story comes almost exactly a year after they tied the knot in an Arkansas ceremony last August. And since Jana—other than her twin brother John-David Duggar, she only has brother Josh Duggar above her in birth order—watched 11 of her siblings tie the knot before her, she emphasized that getting married was a “dream come true.”
“I think it is one of those things that all girls envision someday,” the 35-year-old told People at the time. “For me, it felt like, ‘Okay, it’s never coming.’ But now it’s starting to sink in. Reality is starting to set in. And I’m like, ‘Wow, this truly is something that I’ve dreamed of.’”
And while Jana admitted it was difficult to see some of her siblings pass her by in finding their forever partners, she noted that Stephen was well worth the wait.
“I haven’t always understood what the bigger picture is, but I know that God knows what is best for all of us. And so for me, it’s getting married later,” she explained. “Each of our stories will be written differently. If we were all the exact same, it would be a boring life.”
