How Jessa Duggar and Husband Ben Seewald Celebrated Their 11th Wedding Anniversary
19 Kids and Counting alum Jessa Duggar and her husband Ben Seewald, who welcomed baby No. 6 in July, celebrated their wedding anniversary with a sweet treat before embarking on a romantic getaway.
It’s the little things that matter most to Jessa Duggar.
The 19 Kids and Counting alum—who welcomed baby Edward, 3 months, with husband Ben Seewald in July—kept things simple as she celebrated her 11th wedding anniversary, opting to mark the occasion with a sweet treat and quality time.
“Celebrating 11 years with you, Baby!” she wrote in a post on Instagram Nov. 1. “There’s nothing quite like sitting in a grocery store parking lot, eating pints of ice cream with your favorite person in the whole wide world. Love you!”
But the dessert date wasn’t the only way Jessa and Ben—who also share Spurgeon, 9, Henry, 8, Ivy, 6, Fern, 4, and George, 22 months—commemorated their relationship milestone. The couple enjoyed a weekend getaway to Branson, Mo., which the reality star documented in her latest vlog.
“It’s been a little while since we’ve gotten away for our anniversary,” she said in a video posted on her YouTube channel Nov. 3. “Usually, we’ve been going out for dinner or something like that, so it’ll be fun to have two nights away.”
Jessa, 32, and Ben, 30, weren’t totally on their own, though, as they opted to bring their newborn along for the excursion—but having a baby on board didn’t seem to stop the pair from enjoying their trip.

Of course, Edward’s arrival was another special memory for the Seewald household this year, especially given Jessa’s previous pregnancy losses.
“When baby was born and everything was OK, I just sobbed,” Jessa shared in a YouTube video posted in August. “The baby’s crying, I’m crying. It was such a beautiful moment and we’re so thankful.”
