Why isn’t there a new episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters on tonight? Though there is an episode on at its regularly scheduled time, some fans may have noticed that it is a rerun. Why is this happening and when will there be a new episode? Read on for more details.
Why Isn’t A New Episode Of 1000-Lb. Sisters On Tonight?
Last week’s episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters was all about behind-the-scenes and special extras. Fans got to see Amanda and Amy Halterman making Tammy Slaton a special homemade blanket. It had memorabilia from the family and was reminiscent of what their grandmother used to make. Plus, Amy and Chris Combs tried on their old clothes from before they lost weight. They decided to see how many layers they could fit into which was funny and mind-blowing at the same time.

There was also a peek at what it was like when Tammy finally got her huge surgery. She had been waiting for this for years and it happened when she was thirty-six after months in rehab and a lot of hard work. However, after that episode, fans wondered what was next. Tonight, the episode airing is from the current season, Season 4 and it is episode 2 from January. It is entitled “Can’t Have Cake and Eat It Too” which was all about Amy learning she had to get her eating under control for baby #2.

Why is this happening? It is because the 1000-Lb. Sisters Season 4 finale happened on March 21st with Tammy and Caleb Willingham tying the knot in their rehab facility. Her sisters pulled the wedding together at the last minute and did an amazing job with Tammy having lost so much weight. It was the most perfect moment, one that they probably never believed would ever happen. As to when the show will return is up in the air. There have been rumors about money disputes and now, Amy and Michael Halterman are divorcing. So, what will take its place?
