While many of the Duggar family members are likely ecstatic about Jana Duggar‘s pregnancy with baby No. 1, her sister Jinger Duggar made it clear how she feels about their growing family.
“So stoked for my sis @janamduggar & @stephenwissmann!!!” Jinger, 31, wrote via her Instagram Story on Monday, August 18, after Jana, 35, announced that she’s expecting her first child with husband Stephen Wissmann. “Can’t wait to meet this precious little one and to be the fave auntie ha.”
After Jinger uploaded her post, Jana reshared it to her own Instagram Stories and poked fun at the size of their large family. “Thanks! I think there are several aunts competing for that title,” she jokingly wrote.
Jana and Wissmann, 32, announced that they’re expanding their family by sharing a black-and-white photo of themselves sharing a sweet kiss. Another photo captured Jana and Wissman each placing a hand on her stomach as he leaned in to kiss her head.
“We are so excited, January 2026 is going to come with a little bundle of joy joining our family! We’re counting down the days and eagerly looking forward to this thrilling new chapter in our lives!” they wrote in the caption.
After they shared the happy news, several of Jana’s family members rushed to the comments section to express their excitement. “So excited for y’all!” Jill Duggar wrote, while Jessa Duggar commented, “Can’t wait to meet this baby!!”
The couple got engaged in June 2024 and kept their romance a secret until they wed two months later in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
Jana and Stephen celebrated their first wedding anniversary just days before their pregnancy announcement, and she took to Instagram to reflect on the milestone. “Just celebrated one year of marriage with my favorite person, and it has been the best year!” she wrote via Instagram on August 16. “I look forward to many more years together!”
