Mama June Spills Real Truth About Pumpkin’s Alleged Twins
Mama June Shannon has never been one to censor herself. She will go on social media and say whatever is on her mind. However, when it comes to her daughter Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird’s twins, she was very elusive. No one was quite certain if she even had the twins or if it was a hoax. Now, June is officially clearing up all of the rumors.
Mama June, Not Feeding The Speculation
A lot has happened since June missed the birth of Pumpkin’s second child in July 2021. This has all been documented in the reality series Mama June: Road to Redemption. She was hiding out from her then-boyfriend, Geno Doak so she had gone MIA. This was a hard pill for Pumpkin and her family to swallow. She had expected her mother to be there as this was a big moment in her life. Plus, she had been there for the birth of her first daughter, Ella. In fact, she was so dedicated, she had her eyes worked on so she could clearly see her new grandchild. That would not happen this time around.
In early April of 2022, TMZ reported that Pumpkin was expecting twins and was due in June. The family never confirmed the pregnancy and no bump shots ever came out. Then, on May 19th, the babies allegedly made an early arrival. A source close to the family confirmed this news to The Sun and it came out May 30th. The next day, news broke that Mama June had gotten married to her boyfriend of five months, Justin stroud. Finally, the following day, it was confirmed that Pumpkin was granted sole custody of Alana. Yet, the family still avoided confirmation on the twins and June acted like she was unsure. What’s the real truth?
Babies Or No Babies?
After all of the speculation, Mama June took to TikTok and went live this morning to clear up all of the rumors and set the record straight. Yes, Pumpkin did have twins. They did arrive on May 19th and yes, June and Justin were there the night before and the morning of. The newlyweds, who married in March, arrived in Georgia on May 18th. They checked into a hotel and went to go see Pumpkin. Early the next morning, around 7 am, they returned to the hospital. Pumpkin’s husband, Josh’s mother was also in attendance. They went back again to check on the babies that evening.
After they left, the couple headed on a vacation that had been planned months prior. No, June and Justin have not been back as they have things to handle in Alabama regarding Justin. The only reason no one has said anything regarding the twins is it was Pumpkin’s story to tell. However, June grew tired of a lot of gossip and inaccurate stories. Therefore, she knew it was time to clear the air but did not reveal the sexes or names of the twins.
