Over the next few months, she nearly lost 240 pounds, despite her initial goal being to lose 80 pounds. Her transformation was not just limited to physical changes but also about a journey towards healing and growth. Since Megan appeared on the show, she continued to work on herself, slowly and gradually, and move further towards healing. The doctor performed a gastric sleeve surgery on her.

After being part of the program for almost two years, she said goodbye to Houston and returned home to Illinois. According to reports, she has been maintaining her progress and weighed 368 pounds as of mid-2024. Megan has kept her personal life quite private. Her last Facebook post was in 2020, and she does not appear to be an active user on any other social platform.

Even though she is private about her life, she occasionally gives glimpses into it. In late 2024, she posted a photo of a baby girl. She is a true football girl.
