Jon Hamm‘s Monty died at the end of season one. Landman co-creator Christian Wallace seemed to confirm that Jon ‘s character really did die, so fans are assuming he won’t be back for season 2…unless he’s featured in flashbacks. Christian told Variety, “It is safe to say that Monty has passed. But when you take one major player off the board, it opens up opportunities for other players — and I think that’s all I’m at liberty to say at this point.”
